Chippenham's Platinum Jubilee Events

Queen and Country exhibition - Chippenham Museum

Twin exhibitions with two different responses to the English Monarchy, marking both Queen Elizabeth II’s 70th anniversary as monarch and the 38th Anniversary of the start of the English Civil War.

A large-scale civil war re-enactment will take place in the Town on 23rd – 24th July. A special opening will take place on 4th June with the English Civil War Society. Free Entry.

The ‘Joy of Community’ bunting - Yelde Hall

Decorated triangular flags are displayed as bunting. Created by local people in various mediums the flags are a personal and artistic response to what our community means. Free entry.

70 years- 70 faces, Photographic Portraits, Yelde Hall.
