Platinum Jubilee Local Road Closures

Towns and villages across Wiltshire are preparing to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a whole host of street parties and events planned.

Wiltshire Council have approved 84 applications to close roads across the county to make room for the celebrations.

The Jubilee weekend covers the days from Thursday June 2 to Sunday June 5 and there are plenty of opportunities to celebrate the Queen across the bank holiday. Whilst many celebrations for the occasion will not require road closures, those wanting to hold traditional street parties have had to seek permission.

The roads closed in Chippenham/Corsham are:

High Street, Chippeham - June 2, 6.30am-7.30pm

Rowden Road and Burleaze, Chippenham - June 3, 12pm-8pm
