Vaccinations and immunisations – make sure your children are up to date
There are a number of childhood milestones that you wouldn’t want to miss – their first words, first steps or first day at school.
Other milestones include their childhood immunisations. You can check your child’s personal health record (their red book) to establish if they are up to date. Before they start school for the first time, they should have had two doses of MMR and the 4 in 1 pre-school vaccination.
It's important that vaccines are given on time for the best protection, but if you or your child missed a vaccine don’t worry you can contact your GP to arrange to catch up.
