Chippenham Book of Condolence opens in Town Hall

Chippenham Council have opened a Book of Condolence in the foyer at the Town Hall for any residence who wish to sign it. The book will be available between 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday until 5.00pm on the day after the funeral.

The Union Flag on the Town Hall will be lowered to half-mast until 8.00am on the day after the funeral.

If you would like to lay flowers of tribute, please do so at the War Memorial.

Please ensure your flowers are not wrapped in plastic, bins are provided at the War Memorial for you to use.

All flowers and other memorial items will be removed after the day of the funeral and will be composted and recycled where possible. Please consider the option of donating to a suitable charity of your choice rather than purchasing flowers.

As a mark of respect, The Mayor of Chippenham has reduced her Mayoral duties during this time.
