The Hub at the Heart of the Chippenham Community

The Chippenham Community Hub which has been formed as a charity, has had funding from Chippenham Borough Lands Trust, Chippenham Area Board, Chippenham Town Council and the Rotary Club, and looks to build links with voluntary and statutory bodies in the town.

The venture is being led by former Chippenham Town Council leader and Mayor Sandie Webb, who stepped down as a councillor to fulfil her dream of a central point that can bring people and groups together.

The Hub operates to promote social inclusion, provide help to excluded people and signposting to services and direction.

It offers a space for people and groups to meet and has a full weekly diary of events including the Crafting Group on a Monday, the Ukrainian Friendship Group on a Wednesday and the Knatty Knitters on a Friday.
