Chippenham Recycling Centre to switch to their winter opening times

From 1 November, the opening hours of Chippenham's Waste Recycle Centre will change from 10.00am to 4.00pm on each day that they’re open. Currently they are open from 9am.

With change of hours, the site at Stanton St Quinton will also be closed for an additional day a week, so will not be operating on Thursdays and Fridays. 

All of these temporary changes will take affect from 1 November and last until 31 March.

On entering the site you may be asked to provide a proof of address in order to use the household recycling centre.

Acceptable examples include:

• Drivers licence
• Council tax bill
• Utility bill (either a printed or an electronic version is acceptable)

People who do not pay their council tax to Wiltshire Council should use the sites provided in their own local authority area.
