Chippenham's Festival of Christmas

Chippenham Town Council’s Festival of Christmas will run from 26th November – 4th December 2022.

The Christmas lights switch on will open the festival with a full day of festivities in the town centre on Saturday 26 November, including live acts on the main stage in the Market Place:

Dancing Academy (12.30pm - 12.40pm)

NJ Dance (12.45pm - 12.55pm)

Rock Choir (2.00pm - 2.30pm)

Switch (3.00pm - 4.00pm)

Lyneham Military Wives Choir (4.00pm - 4.20pm)

Switch (4.30pm - 5.30pm)

Lights switch on (5.00pm)

The light trail produced in partnership with Melt Productions will open on Island Park during the following dates/times:

Saturday 26th November (5.30pm - 10.00pm)

Sunday 27th November - Thursday 1st December (4.00pm - 7.30pm)

Friday 2nd & Saturday 3rd December (4.00pm - 10.00pm)

Sunday 4th December (5.30pm - 10.00pm)

The popular snow globe will be back at the top of the high street, its free and no need to book in advance.

They'll also be Juggling Jim, Stilt Walkers, Elves and an Ice Dragon.
