Make the switch to manage your council tax electronically

Wiltshire Council is urging residents to sign up for e-billing to receive their council tax statements digitally, delivering customer service, environmental and financial benefits.

If you make the switch, you can enjoy:

  • Instant access: no more waiting for the post, email notifications when bills are available.
  • Statements available to view on any device, at any time: at home, at work, or on the go.
  • Stay in control: easily track and manage payments, with optional email reminders to check the portal if the bill is not paid by direct debit.
  • Eco-friendly choice: Reduce paper waste and help cut carbon emissions - a small change that makes a big difference.
  • Security and reliability: digital delivery means fewer delays and less risk of lost or misplaced bills.

It's quick and easy to make the switch, just visit https://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/council-tax-online

The council tax online portal has recently been refreshed to improve usability.

In addition to requesting e-bills, residents can also use the portal to print their council tax bill, set up or amend direct debits, notify of a house move, check their council tax band and apply for council tax discounts.
