When are you on air?

Friday evenings, 5pm

Tell us about your show...

It’s a sport review / preview show, looking at last week’s results and what they mean for this week’s games.

What was your first job?

The first job I ever had was working the tills at Early Learning Centre when I was 16!

What was the first song you bought?

That’s a tricky one, I’m not sure but I’d have a fairly safe guess it would have been “Bat Out Of Hell” by Meat Loaf.

What has been your best/worst radio moment?

My best was commentating on Sunderland vs Portsmouth in the 2019 Checkatrade Trophy Final from Wembley.

The worst was probably another commentary moment, introducing the second half of Sunderland vs West Ham back in Sunderland’s Premier League days – I revealed to the listeners the wonderful insight that Sunderland were playing North to South, and West Ham were playing South to North – realising the redundancy of particularly the second part of this information, I followed up with “because that’s the way football works”. D’oh!

What are the things that really wind you up?

Definitely when someone turns the volume of the TV or radio to an odd number – I mean, come on, who would seriously do that and not care?

If you could interview just one person, dead or alive, who would it be?

Probably Nikola Tesla, or Eric Cantona – my favourite footballer growing up.
