The Calne Summer Carnival 2023 was held on June 24th and was one of the biggest events the town council organized with approximately 5000 people in attendance throughout the day. The event theme was ‘1950’s and 1960’s’ and featured a packed events programme. There were many stalls, entertainers, live music and a whole heap of fun. The procession left Bremhill View at 4.30pm arriving in town at about 4.50pm. For the first time, the A4 was closed to traffic for most of the afternoon.
